‘My journey began in hair evolved through a Fashion Branding degree at AMFI, where concept, image, and identity became central to my work. In 2024, I founded KURO HAIR in the heart of Rotterdam, a high-end salon, academy, and creative platform where craftsmanship meets vision. Through KURO Collaborations, I work across Couture and Fashion Weeks, editorials, global campaigns, and brand consultancy, shaping distinctive hair narratives that elevate the overall image. My work is inspired by the history of art and culture. A new source of inspiration for me is reading biographies of directors, artists, architects, and actors, allowing me to gain insight into their creative thought processes. I am drawn to conceptual designers whose work reflects the spirit of their time, translating cultural shifts into powerful visual statements. Highlights include leading hair at Paris Couture Week for designers such as RVDK, Peet Dullaert, and Thayna Caicara, as well as contributing to international Vogue editorials and the Goldwell Global Coloring Campaigns. Above all, building a creative community and growing in synergy with visionary brands remains my greatest source of inspiration—with the most defining chapter still ahead’
